Carson is a person who has gone through so much, and yet he stays true to himself during his recovery. It is something that can touch any reader, and Phyllis Moore spares no expense in capturing all of the details with this.

This story makes a great point of humanizing the victims of the Holocaust to better understand it. Rhonda's perspective is one that aids in this idea, aided in large part by Aviel Smolka's writing.

Just a lovely story. So much hope in it.
