Good summary of challenges. I loved the "Hurricane Erin's road rage" headline. Excellent point about the small amount of money for coastal roads vs. greater sums for snow removal. That was powerful. Maybe that could have been the first sentence of an editorial to really pull people in? Try to always have a clear call to action. The perils of cuts to the NWS came across well. I like the calls for community input.
